One of the much awaited
Nollywood movies ‘Broken’, featuring Nse Ikpe Etim, Kalu Ikeagwu, Bimbo Manuel
among others and Produced by Bright Wonder, was recently premiered amidst glitz
and glamour at the prestigious Silverbird Cinemas, Abuja, breaking premiere’s
attendance record.
Broken is a movie production from the stable of High Definition Studios, an emotional flick centered around the lives of two adults and past lovers - Nse Ikpe Etim and Kalu Ikeagwu - once married, got separated and along the line, their lives were later thrown into chaos as mistakes of their past including the aftermath of the children they failed to bring up properly in their selfish union, come hunting their present as asylum, death- row and street living mar their once sane lives.
According to the producer and director, Bright Wonder, Broken is a social movie that addresses the menace of child abuse, neglect, trafficking, exposing its adverse effects and repercussions on the Nigerian child and on the Society” and hence is a project that seeks to reaffirm the place of the family as the bedrock of the society, hereby using the motion picture as a channel implored at raising public awareness against the dreadful menace of child abuse’.
While speaking on the success of the premiere Bright said ‘I’m really happy at the turn out of people for this movie premiere, it surpassed my expectation and this is a proof that this movie will create its own box office record’ he enthused.
Bright Wonder was the producer of the mildly popular movie, Away from Home.
