New Television Show Doles Out Millions to Youths


A new television show My Education Quiz Play, is doling out millions to the Nigerian youths at both senior secondary and tertiary levels to support their future ambitions and aspirations of becoming leaders at different spheres of life.
My Education Quiz Play is a TV show designed with the intent to educate and entertain viewers through the questions and answers sessions and the intrigues that follow the emergence of winners in the different categories of the quiz play. The show is aimed at reshaping the views of the youths on the import of balancing entertainment with education for effective learning.

In the last three weeks, over N2.1M cash prize has been won by contestants and audience in the new episodes of the TV show. Students from diverse secondary schools and tertiary institutions have benefitted from this rewarding scheme. It is to help cushion the ravaging effect of poverty leading to the declining rate of literacy in the country.
Some of the winners include Glory Okpara - N190,000, Oladayo Hamidat -N40,000, Damilola, Akinyele- N10,000, Emmanuel Onwubuariri -N100,000, David Omoyajowo- N15,000 and Uburu Gift - N10,000, all from Most High College, Alagbado.  Anthony Onyeahialam of UNILAG, Akoka -N280,000, Praise Hansel of Redeemers' University, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway -N20,000, Odi Jide Joshua of Nigeria, Institution of Journalism, Ogba -N210,000, Robert-Paul-Ikhuoria of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma -N35,000, Odewabi Ayodele Omotayo of Ekiti State University- N15,000, Jimoh Abubakar Sadiq of LASU, Ojo - N50,000, Olori Babajide also from LASU, Ojo - N15,000
The television show is produced by the Foundation for Effective Leadership and Development (FELD), an NGO poised for effective and positive change in the overall mechanism of leadership in this part of the world through empowerment programmes.
FELD has Honourable Paul Adingwupu as its chairman and Mr Godfrey Osakwe as Project Director of the TV show.
